Learn about GUP-24 Below

If you have ever attended a renewable energy or sustainability vendor fair, chances are you met few, if any, K-12 teachers or college faculty there. We invite you to help change that by joining the GUP-24 conversation and attending GRATIS with your colleagues and students.

The summit convenes education and industry leaders to explore the nexus of job demand and green skills. Its purpose is to help educators support students in landing good jobs that make a difference for humanity and the planet. As the demand for professionals with sustainability expertise spans nearly every field, this moment presents a unique opportunity for educators to align with the evolving job market and enhance their curriculum.  Hurry. Seats are limited.

We invite you to join a two-day virtual discussion on February 15-16, 2024, with some of the world’s most caring and experienced green employers.

GUP-24 FAQs

Who is it For?

Geared especially to those of you who are secondary teachers and faculty at the collegiate levels, GUP-24 may also be of interest to school career counselors and other administrators. Of course, your students are also welcome to join if you’d like them to have a front-row seat as industry leaders in myriad fields highlight new performance benchmarks and what they mean for new job opportunities and skill demands.

What Does GUP-24 Cover?

Because sustainability is about systems that work together over space and time, GUP-24 focuses on real-world examples of innovations that can draw on your students’ diverse talents and skill sets. Thus, the sessions focus on multi-disciplinary projects illustrating new green or sustainability skills content and pedagogy you can infuse across your courses and programs. Examples include:

✓ Businesses designing with nature and the candidates they seek,

✓ Green value chains (e.g., think furniture and carpeting) and what they illustrate about new roles for graduates,

✓ Regenerative buildings and the teams and skills involved across their life cycle,

✓ AI and other advanced technologies, how green skills help future-proof careers, etc.

What is the Format?

With five live interactive panels, fifteen presenters, and five keynote speakers, GUP-24 uses an online format with a plug-in summit interface. It looks like a conference with break-out rooms, Q&A spaces, mainstage sessions, resource zones, and video viewing areas.

Are there Any Special Perks or Take-Aways?

Yes, educators and other registrants receive a:

✓ One-year subscription to the Monthly GUP (Green UpSkill Newsletter) for FREE, and

✓ The option of enrolling as a member at the Basic level (individual) for free, including early bird access to resources and campaigns.

How Do I Join?

After registering, you will receive an access link along with additional instructions, updates, your Monthly GUP subscription, and other Free membership perks.

Thank you for your interest in green skills education, engaging in this summit, and guiding your students towards hope and opportunity.
